As Principal and owner of CHH Consulting, Caroline Hazard brings over 20 years of experience in researching, designing, and implementing sustainable energy programs and practices. Her work has included sustainable energy market characterizations, including supply chain actor value proposition mapping to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities. She has deep experience in managing local, regional, and national public-private partnership programs, namely Home Performance with ENERGY STAR and ENERGY STAR Products. Most recently she’s been supporting advancement of clean energy technologies for Massachusetts and New York State’s residential markets, investigating the benefits of new financial incentives for affordable green buildings and connecting market friendly practices with each State’s aggressive energy efficiency and strategic electrification goals. She also supports US DOE and Oak Ridge National Laboratory on the nexus of connecting emerging technology innovations and research with marketplace deployment to advance high performing energy saving technologies.
